Steam Cleaning 
The truck mounted hot water extraction system is often referred to as 'steam cleaning.' Our technicians use a hydro force sprayer to apply traffic lane cleaning solutions that break down embedded soils and prepares them for extraction. The extraction process injects a low pH rinsing solution into the carpet while a powerful engine driven vacuum system extracts the solution along with the entrapped soil through a vacuum hose and into a receiving tank located in the van. Your carpet is clean and usually dries in 4-6 hours. 

Recent studies have shown that a proper carpet cleaning, especially one done by a certified professional using the hot water extraction system, has a significant and positive effect on the health of the people who live and work in that home or building. 

Dry Cleaning 
All carpet cleaning systems require some amount of moisture. How that moisture is controlled determines whether the system is "wet" or "dry". 

This method involves applying a traffic lane cleaner to the carpet, then using a rotary Bonnet machine to lift away loosened soil. Carpet Renovations does not use shampoos, detergents, or any products that would leave a sticky residue to re-attract soil after cleaning. 

The carpet is cleaned and usually dries in about an hour. The Rotary Bonnet method is perfect when you need immediate access to the area being cleaned. This is a great system for Banks, Offices, Hotels, Restaurants, etc. 

Dry cleaning is best used for quick touchups between deep steam cleanings.
